The intern will plan and implement 6 events focused on fostering a community gathering space for downtown Fort Collins at the Larimer County Farmers’ Market.

1.Plan and implement 6 events during the market season
2.Develop a method to track Market attendance
3.Develop a report showing how events affect attendance
Scope:
1. Plan one event per month at the larimer county farmers’ market beginning in June 2023
2. Attend the market during on Saturday mornings beginning May 20th 2023
Objectives:
The intern will receive hands on experience

2. Presenting data to a board

What student learning outcomes do you anticipate and what are the opportunities for professional development?
The intern will learn how to plan educational events geared toward children. The intern will learn the business operations of a farmers’ market by attending the market on a weekly basis. Because of our close connection with the Larimer County Commissioners, the intern will gain experience presenting results to a government body.
