Virtual fencing could be a big part of the future of range management, ranching, and wildlife management, should this technology be found to be economically viable for operators. The goal of this internship would be to conduct an economic analysis of virtual fencing, as it relates to ranching and range management. This project will be located in Grand County, Colorado, but the analysis has the potential to inform decision making for land and ranch managers across Colorado, or the nation.
